Ive been coming up with a list of reasons this is just plain bull.
1st of all, his bulky appearance is not feminine.
2nd There is a tragedy behind the purse in the locker area (seen in a video)*
3rd If you actually listen past the muffle its obviously a mans voice.
4th His voice actor is Dennis Bateman, who is a man (DERP)
5th Dennis also did voices for spy, another male character.
6th there are no other classes with female’s.
7th Do you really want to screw up the fun of having a female pyro model*, by making the male one a girl to?

still hardly understand, but a part of my Original post, i stated theres a story about a developers wife dieing during development, and they threw it in as an honor, since she loved the pyro.
I believe the Pyro is a male, but to be honest, I could care less.

We won't [I]have[/I] to do anything. Stop being so presumptuous. The model won't have to change at all, and even if the Pyro's mask gets taken off in the "Meet the Pyro" video, doesn't mean that the Pyro's model will be changed in the game.

i like how you scrambled the questions in Q and A by not reading the whole damn thing just so i could not read your post.
Voices of the pyro was done by a man. If valve intended it to be a woman, they would have hired a woman for voices from the very beginning.
At launch there were a lot of whiners about not having a female character. So, i'm guessing that's why valve started playing with it.
btw just because you have a pic of a bulky woman doesnt disprove it.
and ive had a nack for understanding through a muffle on a mask.
