I recently fucked up something with an FPS config and everything turned dull in color. The blues are flat and it simply looks a bit cartoonish. Can anyone tell me what console command I can use in order to set this to default? Thanks.

(In links because they are reasonably big)
It looks like it's set to Direct X 8 or lower, what's your software directx level in the video settings?
just increase your texture quality (if possible) and enable color correction or w/e it's called (also if possible)
That actually looks alot better. Would be interested in the console command to make it look like that.

If I find out what it is, I'll tell you.
Looks like you turned off shaders and reflections.
I dont know console commands past the common ones (kill, fov, etc) so I cant help.
I tried changing texture quality and color correction, still nothing. Gonna try what Dr. Doctor recommended.
How about you delete your cfg folder?

I only need to change a single command. It's not worth deleting everything over.

I reccomend this, since this will revert the game to its out-of-the-box settings.
If that does not work, delete and re-download/install.

Copy the few things in your CFg you wana keep, such as binds.
mat_dxlevel 90?
Or 91, not sure.
Launching TF2 with -autoconfig parameter should fix it too.

mat_dxlevel 91 worked perfectly. Thank you very much.
Don't forget to remove "mat_dxlevel 91" from your launch settings afterwards, or it will reset your settings everytime you start it

Will do. Thanks.
The actual command that did that is mat_specular 1, it disables specular maps by default when you switch over to Direct X 8
