• Autobalance needs to know when to shut the fuck up

I was on first part of gold rush on blu, I had been winning most of the night and then I got a loss, that I simply couldn't end on. So I went for another round, and we had the cart on the last point but then I died and it fucking auto-balanced and spawned me right before it went in. I swear to god Im in such a fucking awful mood that not the flames of hell can match the anger that I am feeling. and its not just every now and then, If your a good player, it will do it. I fucking hate it I swear to god rannnntttt.
It needs to take into account when you're a medic and have a fully charged uber or during one, it SUCKS when you get changed during that
It needs to take into account when you're a medic and have a fully charged uber or during one, it SUCKS when you get changed during that
You only get auto-balanced after you die or the round ends.
Auto balance balances you when you die Don't die it's as simple as that
Autobalance is shit.
Autobalance needs to be able to look at which team needs some extra assistance, such as: RED has reached the second checkpoint in a Payload round BLU seems to have a consistent problem defending the cart Autobalance decides that since RED is doing far better, a player is moved to BLU Instead it's more like this: RED has 8 players BLU has 10 players Autobalance decides WHAT THE FUCK THAT IS SO UNFAIR and moves a player to RED
See it as an opportunity to help out the other (losing) team
I hate the fact it just sends ANY random person from that team to another. It should at least be a high ranker on the board.
Random is fair
I hate the fact it just sends ANY random person from that team to another. It needs to take into account how each team is performing and chose a player that it thinks might benefit the other team.
"Hey sport! Your team is about to win. Let me just switch you real quick." [editline]04:14AM[/editline] It'd be nice if autobalance focused on the new joiners and not the ones who top the scoreboard and help their team greatly.
People bitch when the teams are uneven. Then they bitch when they get autobalanced. Valve should update TF2 so that there's only one team. Then we don't have to listen to all this crying.
People bitch when the teams are uneven. Then they bitch when they get autobalanced.
Uhhhh. Some of us can deal with being balanced. Except when... I don't know. You trudge through all the Pyro and Demo spam and finally destroy the enemy teleporter, then all of a sudden, "u r now defneding!"
I can't feel proud of a victory over a team with at least two fewer people.
I have absolutely nothing against team scrambles, but autobalance can indeed be quite annoying.
When I build a really good sentry farm and start to go out a little bit and get killed by a stray nade, then it autobalances me and all of my buildings just fucking explode from level 3 to level fuck you player it pisses me off.
It's annoying to switch from the winning team to the losing team because you didn't pay 10 bucks for autobalance immunity. Seriously, servers that do that make you switch teams at least once a round.
All I do is, when I see the message that the teams are unbalanced I hide in the spawn so I won't die, that way I can't be autobalanced.
It needs to take into account when you're a medic and have a fully charged uber or during one, it SUCKS when you get changed during that
Aka team scramble, two totally different things
Autobalance needs to be able to look at which team needs some extra assistance, such as: RED has reached the second checkpoint in a Payload round BLU seems to have a consistent problem defending the cart Autobalance decides that since RED is doing far better, a player is moved to BLU Instead it's more like this: RED has 8 players BLU has 10 players Autobalance decides WHAT THE FUCK THAT IS SO UNFAIR and moves a player to RED
Winning team always have more players, because every one switches there.
All I do is, when I see the message that the teams are unbalanced I hide in the spawn so I won't die, that way I can't be autobalanced.
That's all fine and dandy except for when the teams become unbalanced while you're already in the middle of a intense firefight, which is what normally seems to happen to me.
See it as an opportunity to help out the other (losing) team
What if you are on the loosing team? And then it switches
What if you are on the loosing team? And then it switches
Not as rewarding as you might think. You've been with your team the entire round, helping them and pushing along. All of a sudden you're dropped at your enemy base and expect to counter the people you've been teamworking with.
Autobalance should swap the guy on the last place in the scorebar.

Allow me to present a video I uploaded almost 2 years ago.
It can be a pain in the ass sometimes, and a real buzzkill. For example, you've just captured the second-to-final control point in Badlands, then some mouth-breathing sonofabitch beats you to death with a chocolate bar, and BAM!, you're on the other team because some soda-sipping QQ'er left because the going got to tough, and that darned Announcer just switches you to fill the void they left... It can grind one's gears, i'll tell ya what.
You should of built a not-dying machine
