Yesterday i decided to play TF2 in a window insted of fullscreen mode, the program stoped responding and I had to close TF2. Ever since that happend everytime I open TF2 it opens in a window, plays the Valve logo then TF2 closes.
I've tried restarting Steam, restarting my computer, deleting local content, then fully reinstalling TF2. None of it worked.
TF2 worked just fine for me since it came out untill now, anybody have any ideas?
-novid in launch options

Now it just opens then closes.
Solved the issue. I just put -fullscreen in the launch options and that fixed it. For some reason my computer dosen't want to run TF2 in windowed mode.
You can make TF2 open in fullscreen by using -full or -fullscreen in launch options.
Update your drivers, meh, might work
As silly as this might sound.
Wait for the game to load, it's not responding because you're going around clicking while it's loading, then you're assuming it's crashed, and you're ending task before it's finished loading.
It stops responding when you've got it set to full screen, but the not responding dialog box doesn't come up when you're full screened cos Windows can't properly bring up a windowed box ontop of a full screened program.
I can perfectly run TF2 windowed on Windows 7
The only problem is that Source's loading process is not multithreaded and then the engine does not respond to system calls, thus Windows thinks your application could have crashed.
Solution: don't interact
