Well, my brother got a Macbook Pro for free from his College classes, and he let me download TF2 on it.
Since this me and my brother's first time using any type of Mac, I was wondering if you can download TF2 fixes from the Emporium (like the 4 slot nade launcher) and how I can do it.

It should be in Library/ApplicationSupport/steam/steamapps/YOURUSERNAME/teamfortress2/tf

Its pretty much the same as on Windows, the TF2 folder is just in a different location. The Team Fortress 2 folder is located at:
HDD\Users\*username*\Library\Application Support\Steam\SteamApps\*steam name*\team fortress 2\tf

Fortunately valve got something right and kept the architecture of the steam folders. As it's been said above, I'll not repeat. Have fun with those skins.

All models/skins meant for the PC work with the Mac.
I own both and confirm this.
My mac hasn't been updated for years, so i don't play TF2 on it.

Just a heads up, voice chat doesn't work on TF2 Mac, your voice won't go through.
