Ok, When I click to start tf2 it waits, then starts the startup vid in minimized mode, then quits.
I also noticed I'm missing the materials folder in my tf2>tf> folder...
Ive redownloaded the full game from steam and I've deleted my tf folder and recached and nothing... This is pretty urgent since I REALLY want to play for the pumpkin patch tonight...
So tf2 wont not start....umm ok...
Also there's NO update for tonight ok? So you wont be missing out on anything. Second. If it's the video that it's crashing on try putting -novid in the launch options.

What graphics card are you playing it on.
Format your PC then put in a fresh install of Windows. That usually works.
