• - HELP - Setting up custom minigun for private server...

Good Morning Gentlemen! I'm new in Facepunch, but i do love the content, especially the TF2 related stuff! Now, here's the problem... I'd like to install a custom minigun (instead of Sasha/Natasha) in my private server, so that everybody can use it WITHOUT installing it in their game, overriding the original one. I've followed partially a guide found on a site that i'm unsure if i can quote (FPS...-you know) but now i'm stuck. I've setted up correctly the files in the script subfolders (items and tf2_weapon_minigun) but, after this, here comes the problem. For avoiding the override of the original minigun, i had to move the model files (v and w) to [models\CUSTOM\weapons\v_models & w_models]... After this, i'm pretty lost: i used the mdldecompiler to get the "source" from the weapon and edit the mdldecompiler.qc to change the model directory (i left the material original 'cause it wasn't overriding anything), and then GuiStudioMdl for recompiling 'em all... THE NOOB WAY, OBVIOUSLY, i didn't change any option or similar =( However, i tried to use the models just done, and the WORLD MODEL works perfectly, but the v_model shows up only for a second, and it seem perfect, but then the game crashes (not the server). So, would you help a LITTLE LITTLE noob in his quest? If you need anything else, don't wait to ask ;) Thank you all for you patience!
You can add new models to the game, But I don't think you can replace anything clientside yet.
But i think is not really like replacing, from the moment that from the script files i CAN use another model and it's animation instead of the original one, being sure that the model is saved on the client pc... I tried it and, as i said, i clearly saw the modded minigun, but after it went in a sort of "idle position", it crashed. [This is what i think, i don't know if it is correct] However, thank you for your answer, mate! =)
Sorry for the double post, but i'm in a sort of hurry... If someone knows anything please...
