Hi, i'd like to ask what is in your opinion the best (in technical aspect) TF2 "real-world" movie. I am considering shooting a professional short movie, but I don't know if anyone hasn't made such already - SO MUCH LITTLE FILMS ON YOUTUBE, YOU CANT CHECK EVERY SINGLE ONE ;) So, any propositions?
what the fuck are you saying
i'm fucking asking about films like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yEtMxkiHaw i want to know if there are professional-made films like this one
Wait, you're going to act out a video game in real life? [editline]10:36PM[/editline] why
For the same reason that people are making machinimas :P and I can make it pro :p
At least you're not a little kid.
what the fuck are you saying
Oh my god, you made me laugh so hard
To be honest do you really have some TF2 clothnes or maybe friends that play the game?
Of course, otherwise I'd beat him with a stick.
Oh my god, you made me laugh so hard
Yeah I laughed hard at that too.
For the same reason that people are making machinimas :P and I can make it pro :p
I don't know if you understand the concept of a machnima, and I'm completely positive you either don't know what pro means or you're lying or an idiot. Most likely all three.
Oh my god, you made me laugh so hard
Yeah, he said "fuck" ohoho so funny.

I thought this thread was gonna be about if there is a film equivalent to TF2 or something that comes really close to it. :\
wow that guys australian accent is horrible
Awesome avatar.

The rest is fine, not that good, though.
Most australians actually don't really have an accent. Myself included, even though I'm working on it.

wrong thread

That doesn't count.
OK, w/e, this discussion is pointless. I just play TF2 a lot but professionally I'm cameraman (filming events etc) and in free time indie filmmaker, i have a lot of collegues from this business and I have professional equipment so I wanted to know, if there would be sense in making professional TF2 "screening" (because I don't want to waste time of my colleagues), now i know that no. EOT.
he means a live action video.

Personally I got blue/greenscreen set (3x5m) with lighting, Canon HV30 with DOF adaptor (it allows to attach 35mm photo and cinematic lenses), Canon EOS 500D, Rode SVN microphone, mic boom, wide angle lens, tripods etc, few lenses, and gear I work on (thats more professional equipment, I don't own it but i can borrow it for personal projects) is Sony PWM-EX1 and my collegue got Canon EOS 550D (video dSLR) and flycam.
