I was screwing around with the Gmod color setting in the "post processing" tab and I made my game look really nice with rich colors. I wanted you know if anyone knows how to do the same with TF2. I know that with Nvidia's Digital Viberence you can but I have an ATI card. It would be greatly appreciated to know how! Thanks.
Team Fortress 2 Color (Dull and boring)-

Garry's Mod Color (Stands out and has a better rich cartoon look)-

-Snip, bad reading-
I don't think it's possible without cheats.
It might be possible to modify the color correction used by TF2, if it uses color correction.
Upper one looked better imo.
Don't you have bloom, color mod or something like that activated ? My GMod tf2 maps look nothing like that.

"Messing with the gmod colour setting"
The thread is very misleading.
The lower one looks ugly.
I think that level of modding on TF2 may even be considered cheating or something, that's why you can't do it.
what happened to the floor on the lower one? the corner looks like it's been moved/distorted.

There is this small ramp in there.
That second shot looks like absolute ass, but if you really want, you can mess around with the saturation levels in Catalyst Control Center.
The second pic certainly looks cartoony, but TF2's style is actually handpainted, for which the first picture accounts better.

That's why they use rim lighting to make things stand out.
2nd pic is awful; you can't even see through the glass in the back. Why on earth would you want that?

TF2 does the work there for the glass in meeting "room". Gmod does not show it by default, even without the color renduring like he did.
I personally do not like it. Makes it way too saturated. The TF2 picture is easier on the eyes and you can see what is needed.
You could edit the lightwarps.

Don't let the scout see that.
I like that color. It reminds me of India or something like that.

Ups. I should stop reading titles only when there are bigass screenshots everywhere.

Like you've ever been to India. :colbert:

Actually, I was there last weekend. I rode my flying pig back.

I'll try that, Thanks

Really?
I guess I haven't played enough 2Fort.
Mess around with your monitor's colour settings.
There's a thought.
Check with the ATI manager (should have one, like on your desktop) and increase your saturation. It won't be 100% the same, but could be close. Just fool with the settings till you get what you like.
But you won't like it.
why would you want TF2 to be super-saturated like that? seems like it would be a strain on the eyes
I think I have vomited more pleasurable colors than that.
