I got a big ass screen, and TF2 does not list my screens size. So, is there anyway to change the resolution to match my screen? Because at the moment I am getting a horrible stretched image.
launchoptions -x and -y
use in conjunction with -windowed -noborder to make testing easy

-x and -y? Isn't it -w and -h?
You can either use -w and -h or -width and -height. Either one works. I can't guarantee that your mysterious resolution that's too big for TF2 will work, though.

My TF2 has always been able to detect my proper max resolution before, even if it was a weird custom one. You should post yours.
And another tip if you want the game to look good and your monitor is too big, then try changing your monitor's settings (not your graphics card settings, whatever settings you get to by pressing buttons on your monitor) to display the screen at 1:1 ratio instead of stretching it. Most monitors have this option.

So, as and example, I would type in -x10 and separately do -y10, and that would set my resolution to 10 by 10?

My monitor is set to 1:1 by the way. Also, the res is 1920 by 1200

Fixed, thanks Leach and Shugo.
1920x1200? Did you try changing it to 16:10 or 16:9 in the video options on TF2?

Oh wait. It's set to 1:1. My bad?
I deserve books :saddowns:
1:1 with 1920x1200?
What kind of math is that?
just do
-w 1920 -h 1200
in launch options
