Is my vintage fancy fedora actually worth something now?

I heard it just got "retired" or whatever, and yesterday a random dude tried to buy it off of me for 3 keys. Do you think these retired hats will actually be desirable as time goes on, especially the vintage ones?

The same amount of vintage exist retired or not, but the community is absolutely fucking retarded so yes they're worth a bit more now.

When/if they stop dropping:
Number of unique ones is no longer rising, making it slightly harder to get, probably a 1 scrap to a 1 reclaimed difference.
Number of Vintage ones hasn't been rising for a long-ass time and therefore the value is unchanged.
Number of unusual ones has completely stopped rising and they are worth significantly more.
So nothing really happens except for unusuals.

Which hat was it, backpack.tf should give a good impression of price for it.
Odds are when he added you to trade or asked you to trade he knew what it was worth and gave you a price lower than what most people would buy at, it's what they do.

Prices are probably increasing for the time being, in the fact people mark up prices because they're being retired.
