Server forcing consistency for the Direct X 80 Water PCF

Damnit the hell, this is pissing me off so bad. I have no custom particles installed, and I have validated Steam files, it redownloaded some stuff, then I went ingame. No problems there. When I join any server, it gives me this error. I'm fully updated, it just won't let me join stuff. I really don't wanna reinstall. Will deleting the "tf" folder and let TF2 redownload it help?

Thought everyone and every server would be updated by now.

I have never encountered that error.

I've tried 20 servers. None of them work. Not even the FP unsrs server.

Oops. Well I have no idea what else could cause it. I take it you're running on a DX8 card? It's not just some weird error?

Uninstall TF2 and reinstall it. Something obviously fucked up with your GCFs in an update that not even validating can fix. Go to TF2's properties and pick "delete local content", then choose to install it agian.

And by the way, you won't lose your achievements or weapons.
