I do agree, but the game is still whatever you make of it.
I like hats. It adds a new element to the game. I actually [B]have fun[/B] trading every now and then.
And I play the game and have fun too.

ps: I still prefer old tf2 when it comes to unlockables, now it's so damn hard to figure out what each class is ACTUALLY doing...

I still have some fun in TF2, don't get me wrong.
It's just that every other TF2 topic on FP is about hats and hats and hats.
And they never got their grenade launcher. :sigh:

If it wasn't for these updates there would be no discussion whatsoever and about half or less of the current active players. Updates are the only thing that kept me from quitting ages ago.

I don't see what the big deal is.
To be totally honest, cosmetic items add a lot of life to TF2 and it adds some uniqueness to each of the characters. Wasn't it getting boring seeing everybody always the same? I love going into servers where everybody looks different even while using the same classes.
If you ask me the first picture looks really boring compared to the second picture.

I was obsessed with trading,but once I get 3 of the hats I wanted,I've ignored trading,the only thing I hate now is people triying to trade me shit like crates and metal for my lugermorph

If it sucks so bad now, then stop playing this game. There's plenty other games to play; it's not the end of the world, just because Valve wants to start making some more money in from their 3 year old game, and then still give us [u]free[/u] updates and patches. Go to Xbox Live and see if you can find new free content for video games. (Not bandwagoning about hating XbL, I actually play Xbox regularly and switch back and forth from that and my PC)

It's sure an interesting opinion, I kind of agree. The updates are good, but there's always a bit of them that dissapoint or annoy me, but that doesn't let me down and I still enjoy the game.

When I used to recommend it to people I'd say "it's only 20 bucks, just buy it."

I don't really give a shit. Valve wants to make money, so be it. I've only had a few issues where the tons of unlockable weapons actually screwed me up (oh a scout, I'll just run up and combo them real qui- SANDMAN).
