Fiskie and I are proud to announce TF2Bazaar, a new trading website! As you can see, it is another trading site similar to Trading Post and Outpost. However, we have introduced plenty of new features to make trading for you easier. These features include: - Phrase Filtering: Filter annoying buzzwords you dislike. - More Items: Tired of 8 x 8 items a trade? Of course you are! Every trade on Bazaar is allowed up to 256 x 256 items. - Bookmarks: Click a button to add the trade to your offers, instead of posting a bookmark reply that usually annoys anyone selling something. - Auctions: This is obvious. - Support System: A fully featured support system for answering questions, submitting bug/scammer reports, and ban appeals. A lot more efficient than adding a staff member on Steam. - Advanced Item Filtering - Specify what exactly you want on an item you're looking for by choosing its craftable status, unusual effect, quality (of course), level, and paint. - Language Support - and much more. With all of that said, pay us a visit! We hope you'll all come to use Bazaar as your venue of business just as much as any of the other websites out there. Don't forget to read the rules! Also, join the Steam group. One more thing, Steam game trading is coming soon.
Hopefully this one doesn't get hit with lowballers and scammers. Nice work, man. I'll use it right away.
Looks like a decent site. Works smoothly and feels really good.
Hopefully this one doesn't get hit with lowballers and scammers. Nice work, man. I'll use it right away.
TF2Bazaar allows users to call out lowballers and scammers without fear of being reported by them, just don't go overboard. Also, with our filters, these people will have no choice in the end but to trade fairly... Or get filtered/blocked, and have to trade elsewhere.
I really need to finish up Pirate for this agh.
this is much better, only thing I don't dig is the name - it doesn't roll off the tongue
Nice to see it out! I hope you have IPs set up, so scammers don't roam bazaar. I recommend doing it as soon as possible, or else scammers might go on this site to scam more or to use it as a fence to trade scammed items.

Yes. Yes, I like this.
The offers icon scares me. Please change it.

I just didn't want scammers using a Bazaar as a fence. Tf2WH didn''t have the API, so it was just a laundering place for hijackers.
Hey! Looks nice. Login doesn't work though, it jumps to the homepage. (Using Opera)
The offers icon scares me. I don't know if it's just me, but the site seems slow on Chrome.
-snap- actually nevermind, I get it now. Good luck with this, actually looks friendlier to the eyes than the TF2outpost and TF2TP, and with better managment stuff too
I don't know if it's just me, but the site seems slow on Chrome.
The javascript needs some cleaning up, worry not we will fix it.
That's... Strange. Anyone else using Opera having this issue?
Works now :D
getting error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS) when trying to log in [editline]5th July 2012[/editline] using Google Chrome
Can I attempt adding Finnish language for this?
getting error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS) when trying to log in [editline]5th July 2012[/editline] using Google Chrome
Odd... It works for me, and I'm using the same browser. [editline]5th July 2012[/editline]
Can I attempt adding Finnish language for this?
Indeed you can. Download this file: http://translation.tf2bazaar.com/eng/LC_MESSAGES/default.po This is the English pot file, translate anything next to the "msgstr" code. Then create a support ticket when your are finished.
the only way to bazaar
Just please don't do the same thing that websites like TF2TP do, hire lots of shitty admins that are obsessed with regulating prices that they set themselves. For example, some admins ban if you try trading a sunbeam unusual for a flaming unusual. Allow users to trade at whatever price they want, as long as its not an obviously blatant scam or lowball.

Also I've never seen a ban on TF2TP for someone not conforming to "prices"?
Lovely...steam API down :-/

Also, users are free to trade at their own prices, just don't be surprised if you get filtered or insulted if you're not one to trade fairly.
While translating, I came across this line: guideline_i_gibe_machina_for_ipod_headphones Not that it's a bug or anything, it just sounded funny.
While translating, I came across this line: guideline_i_gibe_machina_for_ipod_headphones Not that it's a bug or anything, it just sounded funny.
No no, it's not a bug. More of an inside joke that pokes fun at the tendency for people to be conned out of their Earbuds for Machinas.
Really nice looking website. One of the few TF2 websites that doesn't drastically overuse TF2 Build.
Strange, I have the same problem as Gordon Frohm. Also using Chrome
Strange, I have the same problem as Gordon Frohm. Also using Chrome
The problem is that your profile is and probably was set to Friends Only when you tried to sign in. (mine was set to private) clear cache and delete cookies, then read what the site is trying to redirect you to: http://www.tf2bazaar.com/pages/private
If you have recently changed your profile settings and you still see this message, please wait for our site's cache to catch up with Steam's servers.
I waited for a few hours, then made my profile public BEFORE trying to log in again. The very first time I tried my profile was still private. And at the tries right after setting it to public after that didn't work due to the site's server cache still thinking it isn't public. After the successful login and choosing of the language you can change it back to friends only or private. (until you want to start a trade obviously) [editline]6th July 2012[/editline] At least I'm guessing that's what caused the redirect issue. The site somehow wanted to redirect me to http://www.tf2bazaar.com/users/languageselect and http://www.tf2bazaar.com/pages/private at the same time
