Well, i'm having trouble getting my spray working. When i try to import the spray, it says something like that the image file is corrupt, wrong size or something like that. I have tried resizing it to the right size, changing the filetype. Now i used gimp to make it .tga, but then it says something about RGB 24 or 32, but I don't know anything about that stuff. This is the non-edited version of the picture
1) Make it a .VTF 2) Make a .VMT for it 3) Put them in the correct folder 4) Start Team Fortress 2 5) Options > Multiplayer 6) Select your spray from the dropdown box 7) Congratulations, You did it! For further information, read this tutorial. http://www.fpsbanana.com/tuts/4866 Thank you for your time.
If you ever go into the bigger idea of spray making you will hit a point I'm annoyed about: Something that pisses me off about valve's spray system, vtf has all these lovely different formats which you can use but they lock the size limit to 120kb, making only able to use the shitty lossy compression formats called DXT1, DXT3 and the most common DXT5. Where as if the limit was 130kb we could use BGRA4444, BGRA5551, BGRX5551 and RGBA8888 but nooooo they wont let you as they create a spray which is 8 FUCKING KB OVER THE LIMIT. I forgot to say those formats are uncompressed but look far more sharper than DXT5 and DXT5 never goes near the 120kb limit... Also spray has to be a power of two and save it in the 32 format, also needs to be under the retarded 120kb limit when created.

I think.
