It's appearing in my Steam Mac, and I've installed it.
I'm downloading it now.
not that i'm doubting you, but wouldn't there really be a blog post?
Yeah. Although the game didn't download past 1%.
It's the same "Steam servers are too busy" error that trying to download CS: S Beta gave (although CS: S Beta is downloading again).
This is weird.
Maybe the Steam servers are prioritizing PC users.
they never are too busy anymore, so it's probably a bug as usual
Maybe they're preparing it.
Well this is exactly what happened with CS: S Beta on Mac, and it started working just then - so it would make sense!
I guess since they can't set it to preload, since the game is released, this is their way of preloading it?

Release everything but the binaries.
It's not showing up on my end. Maybe a mixed bag release?

There is currently a bug on Mac Steam that TF2 does not show up on the list. Valve said that this would be fixed when they release the game.
[editline]01:28AM[/editline]
And I mean it does that for some people.
I'm getting the same as you, it appears on my list but says the steam servers are currently too busy
What an interesting turn of events.
Its a bloody spai!
IT'S A SIGN!
We've been given a sign!
Engineer update involves a mac.

And giving them recognition and attention of any kind only perpetuates the problem. :eng101:
And not cutting off the conversation as quickly as possible only makes things worse :eng101:
I am sorry. Will never happen again. Yeah right.

Hopefully we'll get an "The Engineer Update!" Announcement like goldrush. a free weekend. and tf2 mac release.

Next week, hopefully.
Although it'd be better quality control to release TF2 the week before, or the week after, just in case the engie update fucks shit up. Again.
Somebody on my friends who's in regular contact with Valve now thinks it will come out late June/early July. Hope not.

Dispenser replacement = Mac.
It will be awesome if valve release TF2 for mac before the engie update so some will buy it and on the freeweekend all mac users can test it.
Also thank god everyone stopped with the "PC better then Mac" stuff,i hated it and im a PC user.
