So i heard you can "clean your juju and spinecaller hat's how do you do this?

You can't.

Craft it with tradable metal if you wanna trade it or just craft it yourself if you want it for yourself.

As you know the unusual metal is non tradable, and the only way to get it back as a tradable item is by using the gift wrap trick. You giftwrap your unusual metal and give it to a friend. They will get it as a gift and see that it no longer has that "not tradable" mark at the bottom. So your friend can easily trade it back to you and you can use it with 4 refined without having to worry that the hat wont be tradable due to one metal not being tradable.

Previously my friend had gift wrapped me a Voodoo Juju hat and it had "cleaned" it to be tradable. He wanted it back so he could trade it to someone and then gifted me a second one just the other day. This second one is now "purchased" and can't be traded or crafted. :argh:

I gave it back to him so that he could use it in another trade. The second one he gifted me a couple days ago is NOT tradable and still says "Purchased: Not Tradable or Craftable". So, going by that, I'm saying that gifting items probably no longer "cleans" them as of a couple days ago. You can't prove this wrong unless you go do that [i]right now[/i] and post the results (i.e. links to backpacks). It may have worked days ago, but not anymore. Either that or it's totally random whether it gets 'cleaned' or not and is a bug. Who knows, what with Valve's system giving out stuff like Vintage Bill's Hats. v:v:v

Well, my Voodoo Juju is tradable now, even that it wasn't a day or two ago. I never gifted it to anyone, looks like Valve just made halloween hats tradable in latest update (HHH fix). Prove: [url]http://tf2b.com/?id=raptorgamer[/url] second page, Juju description, it don't say it isn't tradable.

It seems to be a bug with the updates, because I had a Your Eternal Reward I crafted from an achievement Gunslinger, which was untradable, and then an update or two later it glitched and became tradable.

So the hats you buy from Mann Co. are dirty.

My Juju became Tradable , crafted it with 4 Refined 1 Unusual

Nah, I've gifted 2 metals from alt. accounts, and neither are tradable. Gifting doesn't... 'clean', an item.
