Yes, gentlemen, today TF2 makes 2 years. 2 years full of mentlegeny remixes, of spah crab jokes, of idling schemes and idlecausts, of hats and updates, of hats and more hats. And, still, even if the game is 2 years old, it never fails to amaze me. A "hip-hip-hurray" for TF2! And may we achieve 5 years of Team Fortress 2!
But in all seriousness it came out on the 10th, check the store page.
Interesting. Someone sould host a server with ctf_2fort with no item or new weapons to make it seem like the game before upgrades and what not were added
It was released october 11 2007, today is the 10th
Actually no, Orange Box was released on the 10th
Harpy brifday. Te f too.
Harpy brifday. Te f too.
amen to that
2 years of love and joy. God bless TF2.
inb4 Team Fortress 3
Shit...it's already almost two years since I have started playing on Steam(November actually:v:).
After a billion proxy's, I've finally managed to create a account, and, Tf2 needs to be vanilla again, just for today. inb4buttfuck
Sigh... it was out for two years, and I only been playing for a year. I feel saddened. And yet, elated, for this is time for celebration!
DoDs is still better :colbert:
I disagree.

inb4 faggots arguing about opinions.
It'd be cool if Valve did something to celebrate in-game, or with an update or something.
Two years and running. A tear is shed. :911:
:toot: OH YOU DON'T RATE ME FUNNY THIS IS SERIOUS!!
It'd be cool if Valve did something to celebrate in-game, or with an update or something.
I think they do something - everyone gets birthday hats. Didn't they do that last year?
i've had this game since release and i still can't run it :(
I think they do something - everyone gets birthday hats. Didn't they do that last year?
Maybe give every active user a real birthday hat?
Maybe give every active user a real birthday hat?
Hey, why don't we celebrate it ourselves?
I think they do something - everyone gets birthday hats. Didn't they do that last year?
They do that on the day of the the original release of Team Fortress (the old Quake version) - August 24th.
They do that on the day of the the original release of Team Fortress (the old Quake version) - August 24th.
Then we should really celebrate this date by ourselves. It's not like we need Valve to do anything, right?
Holy shit it's been two years? It feels like it only came out this year.
Holy shit it's been two years? It feels like it only came out this year.
That's the power of Valve updates. I got some suggestions on how we should celebrate: - Playsession - A machinima video with everyone's message to the TF2 dev team - Try to get a playsession with dev team - Games! Games! Games! - Special TF2 Birthday Scavenger Hunt - Special skins/sprays to everyone who participates on the birthday event - And prizes. How about it? I could organize this.
I haven't enjoyed the game in the past 6 months. Pity.
I haven't enjoyed the game in the past 6 months. Pity.
Whaaaaaaaaat?
Same deal for me with Neckbeard, but I usually wait every major update. I play TF2 for like a month; get bored and stop playing TF2 for a while, wait for next update. Loop.
