Did the Grenade Jump get a buff? - Games

I'm wodering about that since yesterday. I was playing Demoman with Chargin' Targe and played on cp_gorge. I was near the first point and shot a grenade on the ground for fun and wanted to do a grenade jump, I did the jump and the grenade made me jump REALLY high. It was almost as if I was using a Sticky instead of a normal grenade. Does anybody know if the grenade Jump was buffed? I checked the changeloc but couldn't find anything about it. I'll try to upload a video. In case you don't believe me, go ingame and try it. Didn't it always make you jump high.

Nope, I used to do this alot, and I had problems reaching heights with it (cp_gorge, BLU's forwareded spawn, I could hardly reach the roof with grenades before).

I think I noticed it too, but maybe it was just a perfect grenade jump

Could you try something? I know a while back I was experimenting this while playing with the targe. I learned that upon a really successful pipe jump, I could jump over the water in 2fort. On less successful jumps, I would usually hit the wall just beneath the ledge on the other side. Could you try jumping over the water?

I've always liked to grenade jump because the lack of sticky jumping is such a big downside. This is certainly good side.

Well, it's a lot about the angle I guess you can get pretty high if you lay down the grenade and crouch jump over it with perfect timing. Anyway, I can manage with the grenade jumps, like through the whole up to the 2nd floor small room right after the main entrance in to to either of the buildings in ctf_2fort

Holy shit, two kinds of projectile jumping? This should be interesting, especially for people using the chargin' targe

Is it only me or am I jumping really high with the scottish resistance as well? I went to the top of the skybox on the halloween map.

I don't know about you guys, but i can jump much higher with the S.R. than the normal sticky launcher. Also, i too noticed, that grenade jumping was buffed. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
