Yes, based off the other thread.
So, what do you guys use? Is survival your top priority? Do you like to stun people to help your team or do you just like to smack people?
Holy Mackerel all the way.
I love the dinging sound of the original bat.
I just love watching the fish go left and right when you turn.
I don't use the Sandman.

I feel like I do more damage with the default bat compared to the fish, despite that clearly not being true.
The fish is a straight upgrade from the bat, due to the announcement of every hit you make.
Though this can be viewed as a downgrade as well.
I use the Holy Mackerel because there's no real downside.

The Fish actually made me play Scout a bit more again and showed me it's actually possible to sneak up behind Snipers and melee them to death before they can zoom out. For many people that aggressive playstyle as Scout might be nothing new, but I always sucked at playing Scout and the Fish made me want to learn play Scout at least a little bit. I'm still not good, but it's somewhat fun with the Polycount weapons.
Not to mention I have some very fun memories with it. You could say it's got more... "character" to it than the Bat counterpart. Fish kills aren't exactly rare or humiliating anymore tho. Too bad.
Sandman, I'm battin' a thousand with this thing
Fish, always fish, because I don't like using the Sandman much and the fish is a funny alternative to the bat.
However, if I want discrete kills, I'll use the default bat.
Sandman when there is an annoying heavy or sniper, otherwise fish.

Fish just to piss people off with FISH KILLS.
The fish makes a hilarious squish noise, and it' just plain funny to watch a scout chase people down with a fish rolled up in a newspaper.
Real scouts play vanilla.
