Apparently this was added to the game files from the update today, im guessing its gonna be a portal 2 pre order bonus.
Uhh.
Did you even bother looking in the update thread
cool, more shit nobody will notice/doesn't fit in TF2 at all

I for one like the bonuses.
It rewards you for getting a game you like.
I was planning on getting Portal 2 anyway. More free stuff I wont wear.
Maybe on Medic perhaps, because he is all sciencey, and is a companion.

fits better on engineer
I like getting items based on games I love. I love portal.
cool, more shit nobody will notice/doesn't fit in TF2 at all
Yeah, it might not fit, and it may be small, but it's still pretty badass in my opinion. The fact that they utilized the team colors to designate the type of portal and added jiggle-bones to suggest that the cube was being pulled by gravity from both portals was pretty clever.
fits better on engineer
License to Maim is for Scout, Engineer, and Spy, for me at least.
So, for me, Cube pin goes on Medic.
It's like they're not even trying to make it fit the game anymore. It's like the exact same companion cube model from portal. I was hoping these stupid promotional items would stop but, it looks like they'll just keep going until TF2 is completely dead.
Regardless I'll still be buying Portal 2, but if even I touch TF2 after that, I'll probably just delete the pin.
I mean at least with the first promotional items, I actually kind of wanted because they looked cool. But this is just a mess.
Consumerists rate me boxes.
If only the Action slot was still Misc 2, then we could wear more stuff.

Or it forces you to buy a game you don't want.

what the fuck was valve thinking when they put in action
didn't they realize dueling + noise makers doesn't make as much money as more hats
I'm gonna have to Preorder Portal 2...
Fuck though, I'll have to preorder the disk version or else probably not download. :sigh:
no i didn't like portal 1
BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!
Ohh it jiggles nicely. Buying the game for the pin.
:downs:
How much does valve usually sell their pre-orders for?
How much does valve usually sell their pre-orders for?
What? Pre-order means you order it early. As in you pay for it early.
Most likely P2 will be $50 with a "10% off if you pre-order" deal again (like it has been for the past several Valve games). Don't quote me on that though.
I've been waiting for portal 2 for like, 2 years. This is great, I get a free item for a game that I was definitely going to pre-order anyway.
60$ pin and a free game!
The "portal" doesn't look that good, but I love the idea of using a jigglebone for the cube.
Yeah, I planned to pre-order for me and a friend I promised to buy for.
And then I got broke, so we'll see how that goes.
Pre-order, not reserving a copy.
You buy now, you get it as soon as it comes out.
Sometimes there's even a pre-download, where you get to download the game ahead of time, but get to play as soon as it comes out.
I know that. Sorry about my english. Just terrible. I meant to say that how much is the price on the pre-orders.
Oh god. Too little sleep.

Portal 2 isn't available for preorder yet, but usually you pay the full price of the game, sometimes with a slight discount, but you don't pay anything later.

Generally $50 with a 10% discount.
Or it forces you to buy a game you don't want.
Because they're totally forcing you to get a cosmetic item
Or it forces you to buy a game you don't want.
Yeah right, because there's totally people out there who don't want Portal 2.
Good try, mister.
