After coming home, I learned that I got a hat for pre-ordering l4d2, and when I switch to my steam games list, it tells me tf2 isn't installed.
I tried restarting, and I checked the folder and the GCF's are all there.
I clicked on install game, and It actually is re downloading the game completely.

Same thing happened to me last update, you ran out of memory (or atleast your PC assumed so) it deleted the game and attempted reinstalling, but couldnt...
