Were you expecting two 16-man armies to rush and battle together? Well, sounds more like the Demoman's versatility isn't gonna help that. I don't like the match up since a demo vs. soldier 1 on 1 will always end up in the soldier winning.

They probably would have scattered if you brought in one uber.

Once the entire RED Team was Demoman with a heavy Medic We had pretty much everything but Soldiers.

Personally, I'm enjoying this. Especially when playing with mates who prefer demomen. It's just a healthy competition.

When they actually agree to duel it's fucking awesome. When you run up and kill those demo bastards who don't agree to shovel anyway it's also fucking awesome.

For some reason my points are stuck at 66. I've killed a few soldiers since and my count won't seem to change.

If you want fair 1 v 1, do ALL CRITS. Thats the only way with soldier and demoman to be balanced, all hits are 1 shot 1 kill.

Great to see Soldier scum getting wiped out for once. That's one advantage Demoman has over Soldier: slopes. On a slope, Demoman can go either up or down, since his shots arc. Soldiers can only fire in a straight line, so when they're the ones going up the slope, they're in trouble.
