Failed to load the launcher DLL

I've reinstalled Team Fortress 2 twice now, but I still get the same error.

I tried to verify the integrity of the game cache and defrag the game, but it didn't work.
Does anyone have a solution?

Try deleting everything but the Steam exe.

Actually with it being the launcher dll its missing part of steam by the looks of it. Just reinstall steam over the top of it.

Nevermind, I fixed it.

I had to delete the Team Fortress 2 folder and verify the integrity of the game cache.

Can someone lock this thread?
