• TF2 players don't get out.

Every game on steam has WAY less players playing atm, but TF2. http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ Pretty shocking. Most games have 1.5x that playing with CS:S and MW2 3x that (5x,xxx), but TF2 seems to be on par with a typical evening. (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - Jimbomcb))

We know how to have fun. :pcgaming:
At least half are most likely idlers.
i say tf2 isnt the best multiplayer game by valve and everyone goes crazy
i say tf2 isnt the best multiplayer game by valve and everyone goes crazy
it is not the best multiplayer game. it IS the best multiplayer game.
Outside will be waiting for me. The golden wrench, however, will not.
I'm confused, I missed this whole business about a golden wrench.. What does it do and what is it for?
or, you know, it could just be a POPULAR GAME.
Once you go TF2 you never go back. :ohdear:
I believe he's referring to 4th of July, so OP believes all of us are American, and forgot to factor idling, especially with the golden wrench craze.
Some people aren't from America and don't celebrate, TF2 isn't just played by Americans only. Otherwise people are just tired and don't feel like watching fireworks. There's nothing wrong with it.
:pcgaming: At its Best?

TF2 players are awesome IRL too. When COD or Halo players start talking about their favourite gaming moments it usually involves something along the lines of "YEAH I OWNED HIM WITH A 2-SHOT-BR BASH COMBO AND TEA BAGGED THE FUCK OUT OF HIM" where as TF2 players often get into these in-depth stories about him and some friends single-handedly held off a massive offensive to save the last cap point on Dustbowl or something :buddy:
I can't tell you how many people I've brought onto the TF2 mantrain, most of which would not normally ever touch a FPS (or at least dislike them as a general rule).
Im idling, hoping for a golden wrench.

Play with bots in a practice round on dustbowl, with host_timescale 0.25 It is so awesome.

You find out many strange things too, such as how bad your registry can be (shot a sniper in the face 3 times before he died, there were blood stains on each hit on his face but they didn't crit)
