Hey, FP. I recently looked back at my thread "Things That You'd Expect To Be Common Sense In This Game, But Sadly Aren't", and I realized that not only did I forget quite a few things, but some things were worded wrong, or things that I've changed my mind on. So now, version 2. -Don't use the Eureka Effect in MvM. Cause when the Sentry Busters come, there'll be no-one to move your buildings. -It's not acceptable to scream over the mic at people that you kill in this game. Save that for Call of Duty. (Boy, is that one going to create a shitstorm.) -The SMG is not meant for taking down a Heavy at full health. -Yeah, he's wearing a Ghastly Gibus. So? I have one that's painted pink, and i think it looks cool. -If you're the only Engie on the team and you're defending, then use the full sentry. Mini-sentries are not good if there's only one Engie on the whole defensive team. -Don't underestimate your revolver. -Pyro ≠ unstoppable tank. -The weapon is only as OP as you want it to be. -In MvM, don't build your sentry right in front of the Tank. It will run it over.
-It's not acceptable to scream over the mic at people that you kill in this game. Save that for Call of Duty. (Boy, is that one going to create a shitstorm.)
Uh, no it won't.
Don't build your level 3 sentry right next to my one. for gods sake.
If you know that there's a sentry around the next corner, whether by being informed by team or getting shot by it, quit rushing it head on like a fool with no support.
heal me medics, god Scouts need healing too
-Don't use the Eureka Effect in MvM. Cause when the Sentry Busters come, there'll be no-one to move your buildings.
fuck you
I'm an engi. You're a scout. Why the hell did you take the teleporter?
Please sit and watch me burn to death considering you were already nice enough to steal that medkit to heal your papercut.
Don't run head on towards a medic backpedaling who is firing needles at you, especially with the Bluts. If he's too far away, chances are he'll kill you before you kill him. Learn to swuuurve.
Engineers dont get angry if the pyro doesnt have a homewrecker
Don't follow your spies anywhere, you'll just draw attention to them.
Don't taunt after a kill when there are three other enemies nearby and then complain that you shouldn't kill a man while he's taunting. There are no rules in hell.
- Tomislav can be upgraded in MvM - Spies, you have a revolver. USE IT! - This is a warzone. Not your bedroom. Please do not use your time here to jack off to naked girls who are as fake as they get. - No team needs 6 spies - He's not using the Homewrecker. So what. You can rebuild your Sentry, and there will most likely be a Pyro or Demoman to hand that Spy's ass to him on a silver platter. - Of course Solly, it's my fault that your almighty Equalizer didn't save you from that 5-sentry nest - Oh look, another Heavy. Run because you're going to die regardless of how far my medigun is shoved up your ass
- No team needs 3 spies
Fixed.
- He's not using the Homewrecker. So what. You can rebuild your Sentry, and there will most likely be a Pyro or Demoman to hand that Spy's ass to him on a silver platter.
Not always true, as a Spy, I know how much I can piss off a Pyro/Demo-less Engy. Homewrecker Pyros are the bane of my existence.
If you can't shoot through chain-link fences What exactly makes you think you can shoot through glass that has explosion scorches on it?
when I am burning to death and every pyro on the team runs by me like I'm not there
Please, continue to pocket that Sniper. I'll sit down right here and continue to burn to death.
heal me medics, god Scouts need healing too
then stand still FOR FUCKS SAKE. (° -c °
Having a medic healing you does NOT MEAN YOU ARE INVINCIBLE. If you run into a sentry nest, I am going to slowly back away and let you get your stupid ass killed,
Yes, I'm sorry Mr. Heavy, it's entirely my fault you died after charging into a 3-sentry nest with your almighty tomislav while my humble uber was at 34%
Having a medic healing you does NOT MEAN YOU ARE INVINCIBLE. If you run into a sentry nest, I am going to slowly back away and let you get your stupid ass killed,
Yes. I've been lectured many times by players for not healing them to the ends of the Earth. What makes them think I want to follow them into certain death when they aren't even overhealed yet and they can hear the spun up heavy through the door in the next room that we previously saw had a medic. It's not a fight you're going to win regardless of how much I jam my healing beam up your ass. It's really baffling the lack of spatial awareness most players seem to have/exhibit. Please turn up your FOV, and while you're at it check the key-binds. I don't understand just opening a game and not looking at any of the settings.
Medics should spread healing around, but stay mostly with the best player you can find to protect you. It usually isn't a heavy.
Disguised Blue Spies that are on fire appear as Red players with a bright blue glow around them. Disguised Red Spies that are on fire appear as Blue players with a strong Red glow around them. Normal players on fire have their glow properly fit them and almost fully blend in with them. To sum it up really, if you see a goddamn soldier running away from you and teammates with an eyejarring incorrect team glow, ffs shoot him. [editline]17th February 2013[/editline] The Rescue Ranger's projectiles pass through teammates effortlessly where as they go THWACK and vanish on contact with a disguised spy. Stop calling me a hacker.
When you are a heavy at 30 health that is saved by my medi-gun your health isn't back to 450 in a second. Don't jump around the corner to engage the wrangled sentry and 3 demomen when your health has barely reached 70.
Spies have the ability to disguise as their own team for a reason, yet they still come out of spawn disguised as enemy team
Spies have the ability to disguise as their own team for a reason, yet they still come out of spawn disguised as enemy team
It doesn't really matter which class you're disguised as, or which team, because the first person that sees you is going to spy check you.
Spies have the ability to disguise as their own team for a reason, yet they still come out of spawn disguised as enemy team
Team disguise is usually unfavorable unless you're using the dead ringer. It wouldn't matter in the situation you described because even if there was an enemy watching you emerge they would attack you no matter what you're disguised as.
even the friendly dr disguise has a million of flaws the fake weapon clips half inside the ground, the corpse still spawn all sorts of mangled up, the spy emits the wrong pain grunt, and it doesn't help that most players will DR when you hit them with a single shotgun pellet from 4 miles away.
please insult me for your death via backstab, no go ahead, go ahead and scream at me in your thick southern drawl about how i'm a "faggot" and a "red sympathizer" because i failed to save you from an attack that causes 300% of your health. watch your fucking back it's not like i'm fucking superman.
You really would expect people to know that the Quick-Fix uber isn't meant for pushing, and is apparently "useless" because of. Do carry on about how you and your heavy, demoman, pyro and whatnot being buffed to full health from what would regularly be a death sentence is completely useless.
