so i made a shortcut for idling mode with -applaunch 440 -textmode -nosound -nopreload -noshaderapi -novid but apparently it doesn't work anymore ever since the mac update
everytime i try to run this shortcut i get a hl2.exe has stopped working error
any1 knows how to fix this?

Textmode isn't broken.
I can't see how there could be any problems with that, but if you are idling, you really should be using sourcetools.
U just need to remove -noshaderapi... or use source tools
