TF2 can't read many names, sends me code strings instead

My TF2 went apeshit. The entire game is like that. Also, every single item is called "UNKNOWN ITEM".

I already tried reinstalling the game, verifying the cache and some other things - with no result.

Anybody knows the fix?

EDIT: Fixed, had to delete every folder in the TF2's directory, then reinstall it. Thanks for helping!

Language change didn't fix anything.

delete everything, restart tf2

try deleting the tf2 gcf files and the steamapps\<your username>\team fortress 2\ folder

also try opting into steam beta and/or the tf2 steampipe beta
