Yeah, I know, first one because the equalizer attribute didn't work (although it does at least show the description in the menu), second one because I couldn't find a way to replace the grenades without replacing all of them.

Flaming Axes for flare gun would be better. Could make it an actual skin then.

As awesome as it would be if that were the case, Valve had nothing to do with it. I edited items_game.txt manually to make a new item (and then replace the battalion's backup with it), and then replaced the grenade model with that of the fireaxe.

It's not a model replacement. I suppose it would work if the server host had the items_game.txt file and the correct .phy file, but even then, the players would need the items_game.txt as well to be able to access the axe launcher in their loadouts.
