I don't play pyro often, but when I do I try to keep a good balance of flares and compression blasts. So, I was trying to make a bind for the flare gun in which it would switch to the flamethrower, secondary attack, and then switch back to the flare gun. I got the bind to work in all ways, but the secondary attack, the entire reason of the bind. I'm not too sure, but I think it has to do with the animation of him actually pulling out the flamethrower, and not being able to fire while it is being pulled out. Does anyone have a good bind that is similar to what I am trying to achieve or ideas on what could be wrong with the bind I described? Thank you for your input.
Edit the waits yourself.
alias compblast "slot1;wait 60;+attack2;wait 90;-attack;wait 10;slot2"
bind x compblast
May/may not work. Commands were done from memory, which is probably skewed.
alias blast "use tf_weapon_flamethrower; wait 120; +attack2; wait 30; -attack2; use tf_weapon_flaregun"
bind key blast
Thank you, but there isn't a way to get it to deflect immediatly is there, because the bind is kinda useless when it is easy to just swap through it.

+attack2 needs a -attack2.
Just popping in here.
Mousewheel up Primary
Mousewheel down secondary
F melee.
It makes pyro the sex to play. Reflect a rocket, switch to flares, switch back, never worry about having na axe when you need a puff.
You will have to create a custom control scheme for engineer and spy though.
Hey, I may actually try this one, Shadow. Looks useful.
