• Do you use more than just one voice command?

I'm getting annoyed at joining a game and seeing everyone just use the MEDIC command. Like it's the only one that exists. I use more than just the MEDIC command.

I use everything. Cheers, jeers, good shot, Spy, et cetera.
Are you playing on the xbox?
No. If I was, I would only know of the one.
Are you playing on the xbox?
I am guessing he is but he doesn't have an xbox thing below his avatar.
I wish they'd change the command bar to what L4D has
Theres the Need healing for no reason: MEDIC Paranoid: SPY! Prick: Jeers/Need A (Building) Here
I use them too much. I yell "Spy" at people just for giggles, and then they don't believe me when I actually call for a real spy.
I had medic bound to middlemouse click to stop me from accidentally calling for a medic when trying to press w. I usually just spam x5 when I'm bored but I sometimes say "Sentry Ahead!" or "Incoming" when the need arises. I doubt anyone listens though. I shout "Sntry Ahead! and my teammates still charge around that corner and get gibbed ...
Gotta move that gear up!

I use a bunch of different ones but the radial menu idea would actually be really nice in TF2
How exactly do you bind voice commands to keys?
Bind - "voicemenu - -" Fill in the first blank with a key and the two other blanks with numbers. 0 = Medic, Thanks, and the others 1 = Spy, Sentry Ahead, and the others 2 = Cheers, Jeers, and the others

Cheers, and Battle cry. Also, Thanks.
I use almost every command.
I use alot of commands when my mic is broke. Which is 50% of the time. Goddamn it. I tend to say thanks a lot either way, though.
When I'm getting hurt as a Medic and shout "I REQUIRE ASSISTANCE!", they still won't turn around :smith:
No wonder, you're not a Heavy, Soldier, Demo, or Pyro. Cloak and run away.
mostly just incoming, medic, need a dispenser here (lol im witty), and help (when on control points)
No wonder, you're not a Heavy, Soldier, Demo, or Pyro. Cloak and run away.
Medics can cloak?
I use alot of commands when my mic is broke. Which is 50% of the time. Goddamn it. I tend to say thanks a lot either way, though.
If your mic has a tendency to stop working (like mine does), replug it a few times while testing it in the options menu until it works, apply the settings and keep the window open, and do not touch the plugs again.
help (when on control points)
This has become a habit for me now. It's hard not to do it as soon as I touch a control point.

I tested it in sound recorder and it records, but it's whisper quiet. Bloody Plantronics headsets. :emo:
I bind keys to "Spy", "Activate Charge", and "Thanks". The first two because they're super useful, the last one because it's polite. Oh, and "Need a dispenser here" of course. I think it would be cool if TF2 had one of those radial voice menus like BF2 I think it would encourage people to use voice commands, which would be nice for the people who don't have mics. I never use the voice commands that I don't have bound because it's too slow to dig through menus.
I just spam random numbers. It's fun. Anyway, I have Thanks and Activate Charge bound, so that I can say thanks to Medics and Engis.
I think I have most of the voice commands memorised ..
This has become a habit for me now. It's hard not to do it as soon as I touch a control point.
I also shout GO GO GO 0.5 seconds before we cap and then run away
I always overuse "spy".
Oh yeah that too, and Sentry Ahead. Pff my list sucks.
