• Servers are not nonexistent

I can't find any TF2 servers under the "Internet" tab, neither in the Steam client server browser, nor in the in game one. The tab has 0 servers in it. I've tried oh so many things, and I am desperate for help. Any ideas on how to remedy this?
Did you look in your "Filters"? You maybe set something wierd so it cant find anything that matches your search.

It happens to several of my friends. They can join games fine but the server list is mad Afaik it's a router / firewall issue.

I also have a Netgear router. Wat do? Please help, i want to be able to play again.
I've also got the same problem with a netgear router. Try opening a cmd box and typing "ipconfig /flushdns" Usually works for me.

Then be fast about getting into a server and fast if you need to change server, I've found that if you wait too long you won't be able to. If you can't get into one and the server list doesn't load then load up your own map, wait a couple minutes and try again. It's kind of a pain but I've gotten used to it. It'd still be nice to have a fix for the problem, or at least what exactly causes it.
So its a router problem... I've always wondered what caused it. Anyway, my fix is basically the same as what t man posted, except I go under the history tab for ALL games, so I don't have to keep adding servers to my favourites. Whenever I search for JUST TF2 servers, that causes the server browser to stop working. When there are other games in the list, it works fine.
