Woah, Valve updated really late.
can someone explain to my why the fuck the demoman needs a close range kit
Didn't suspect an update this late at night.
I liked the targe. AND IM NOT LATE IM THE FUCKING FIRST UPLOADER
Because Stickies aren't Enough.
Really demo gets the first weapon what the fuck
It's because the soldier is the easiest class valve said it themselves.
That's gonna be soooo fun to use. Imagine seeing a demo charging straight for you with a sword and shield. But I hope that stupid "headsheadsheads" thing wont be there in game. Valve are so awesome saying the Soldier is the easiest class, take that lousy worthless soldiers.

This is great, no more pulling out your nade launcher having them fly right through the enemy at point blank, then being FaN'd to death. ILL CHOP YE' HEAD OFF! :black101:
nvm rate bad reading and boxes
Because The soldier is totally not ahead of the demoman.
The newspaper disagrees with you.
Which class is ahead? Go on take a guess.
whoa wtf bad reading on my part it said demoman when i first saw it.
Soldier has ALWAYS been the easiest class. Valve even mentions in the Commentary that the Soldier is made to be comfortable in all situations. No planning, just run in there.
Woah, Valve updated really late.
It was 10pm PST when they updated. According to rumors the update was coming around 10pm, dunno if they specified the timezone.
The unlockables get more outlandish each update. I wish they'd redo some of the old ones, at least give them a more refreshing aesthetic, akin to the kind of stuff that we're getting right now.
It's because the soldier is the easiest class valve said it themselves.
I want to see the Soldier's newspaper now...
can someone explain to my why the fuck the demoman needs a close range kit
Because.... Awesome.
can someone explain to my why the fuck the demoman needs a close range kit
Probably the same reason Sniper got Razorback, because there are some situations where that class is horribly outclassed (no pun intended) by other classes.
Probably the same reason Sniper got Razorback, because there are some situations where that class is horribly outclassed (no pun intended) by other classes.
Except the razorback was horrible, and this is quite clearly awesome.
Except the razorback was horrible, and this is quite clearly awesome.
Razorback has it's perks, but yes this actually does make sense if you play Demoman on a regular basis. Having someone roll all up in yo' grill be frustrating yo.
Razorback has it's perk
Yes, a single backstab block. The razorback was the worst unlock valve has done so far.
Except the razorback was horrible, and this is quite clearly awesome.
I quite agree, I think the vast amount of times I dominated razorback snipers as a spy really speaks for how useful that unlock really is. That claymore really does look awesome however, and unlike the razorback, you can actually have use for it.
Razorback has it's perks
It saves you from one class, from one weapon, from one direction, once. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah [editline]12:09PM[/editline]
I quite agree, I think the vast amount of times I dominated razorback snipers as a spy really speaks for how useful that unlock really is. Valve love to change things (read: flamethrower airblast and spy recharging from metal and dispensers)
can someone explain to my why the fuck the demoman needs a close range kit
Same reason as the sniper, they designed a weapon that encourage the class to get closer because people do not like dying to someone who is miles away.
Razorback is the best for Snipers who generally hang with their team but to the back a bit. This way you can focus on doing sniping and your team generally takes care of enemies getting too far back to you, and the team is more focused on the front than the back, not watching for Spies. This is good because you can focus more at doing your job better without worrying about getting back stabbed, and giving your team an easier job with Spies, both because Spies can't target you and the Spies might be afraid to act because there is always a hawk watching the back of his team. Also, if the Spy tries to shoot at the Sniper, he can easily retreat into his group and warn everyone that there is a Spy there. So the Razorback can actually nullify Spies in some situations when used by a good team. So yes. When used properly, the razorback can grant unseen strategical benefits that can make the Sniper a much better class at helping his team. These benefits are best on payload maps. On control point maps I find myself using Jarate, and on CTF maps I find myself using the SMG. So basically, even though it might not seem like a good idea because it doesn't provide any active use, it has very useful unseen benefits. The razorback is the most underestimated unlock in the game for this reason. Bonk is the most useless in the game in my opinion.

Works quite well if you have a team without a Medic. Razorback = oh man oh god I can't hear the Spy's uncloak noise and/or footsteps
