• Both Demoman and Solider are shit classes

Controversial, but true. My accumulated gametime for both is about 1 hour. Yes 1. Out of about 300 :smug: The soldier requires little to no skill, just having to shoot a rocket in a 100 metre radius usually does the job. The demoman is just an annoyance, both to play as and against. Most are easy to kill as a spy, they're usually too busy planting their precious stickies. So, fellow haters of both these rubbish classes, let us unite and NOT PLAY AS EITHER !
Yes. Let's.
Retrun play your littly w+m1 pyro.
Shut up.

The soldier is great for newcomers, and the demoman is great for taking out sentry farms with an ubered medic. Please stop complaining, you clearly don't know how to play this game, which explains your lack of hours.

Mjeh, nobody's stopping you. I'll go back to playing Spy when I get my unlocks. Besides, we don't have these kinda competitions every week. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

All's I hear from OP is "BBBBAAAAWWWWWWW!"

Thanks.
If soldier and demo are both shit classes, would you mind explaining to me what a "non-shit" class is? Thanks.
lolol obviuosly Pyro n00b I just felt my IQ drop.
If soldier and demo are both shit classes, would you mind explaining to me what a "non-shit" class is? Thanks.
Spy cause he's pro and Pyro :smug: Edit: I find it ironic that a guy with the username "Grimbloodyfable" is on team soldier, just sayin'.
Fuck you then.
I dont like them much but so what? Their unlocks may make me like them more, if not, I won't play. Plus we all need the demo to win this super special item.
Spy cause he's pro and Pyro :smug: Edit: I find it ironic that a guy with the username "Grimbloodyfable" is on team soldier, just sayin'.
Oh yeah. Me too, I guess. I prefer Demo's personality, but I'm a better Soldier ingame. That's why I want his weapon.
I play as neither class, as I find them to be poor, in my opinion. However, getting the unlocks will be, therefore, be harder, so I welcome the challenge. I shan't bawl that classes I don't play are getting updates, they all have or will; let's not be children about it.

I don't really understand why people say Soldier's the newbie class. It's certainly not as difficult to play as say Sniper or Spy in terms of skill, but it's still no picnic for someone who's never played the game before. For one Rocket Jumping is a seemingly impossible task for most of the newbies I've played with. Two, most of them have a very hard time leading targets with their rockets which means they can't hit anything more than 5 feet away. So generally the only things they're getting kills through is lucky crit rockets and shooting their feet if someone gets too close.
I want the demo updated, because I never play as him. Though giving him new weapons, would make me play more like him!
If they're both shit classes then they need an update to make them better. :smug:

Shoot at enemy's feet. Shoot at enemy. Shoot at your feet while jumping. All quite simple, compared to the crazed dodging of a scout, or the convincing of jaded veterans of a spy.

Rocket jumping is hard to learn at first, but once you realize that you have to duck while you jump, shit's easy. Also, there's ofcourse very noob friendly tactics for soldier that works surprisingly well. Such as corner spamming, or just shooting at your own feet whenever someones comes too close. I'm not saying that it's easy to become a pro soldier, but it's pretty damn easy to become an avarage soldier.
Yeah Soldier was damn easy too in other TF games
My accumulated gametime for both is about 1 hour. Yes 1. Out of about 300 :smug:
Then you're obviously an expert on them aren't you
I actually find soldiers harder to play. Even Heavies can see your rockets coming for them and dodge out of the splash damage.

Demo is my second most played class and I actually know how to aim with the nade launcher. :smug:
MAGGOTS. What kind of sissy talk is this? Soldier is the most superior class. SCREAMING EAGLES
