The items and hats aren't what made me uninstall the game, it's the poor fucking optimization.

I remember the Halloween update, people were complaining about crates and hats and things like that here, when in another forum I visited no one cared.

I don't think Valve have RUINED the game. I think they just need to sort out another set of achievements to get items.

Can't agree more, people here are always whining about something, they can't just enjoy the game until it's perfect
Ok sorry but I really oppose the road Valve has taken with TF2 and if I could play 2007 TF2 again i would rebuy the game 3 times ok thank you very much.
I don't believe that Valve really ruined TF2, they've made a THREE year old game thrive with FREE updates.
My only concern now is the poor optimization, I play in DX8 now.
Waiting for a comic about riots at MannCo. Headquarters causing Valve to permanently lower prices and fix all the aesthetics and fuckups they've caused since the Poly-Count Update and anything before that.

Wrong, it's related to how your attitude when you post is equally obnoxious as that of the users who post there.
That's funny, because to me you keep complaining about hats and the art style and how VALVE DESTROYED TF2 AND PARTICLE EFFECTS ARE INTRUSIVE AND PAINT SUCKS.
At this point I just hope they learn from their mistakes and use what they've learned to make future games better. Since DOTA is another Multiplayer title with RPG elements in it, we'll see what they'll do.

Considering I can't/Haven't been able to play TF2 for several months, I'm going to go ahead and say Yes.
Valve has definitely broken this game.
I don't see why Valve thinks they need to add all this content. They can stop now, it's really getting too much.
