i only know 440, i have been idling for years but never knew what each command does.

"-nojoy" makes sure you don't have a joyful time idling, remove it to have more fun.

-low = lowers the cpu usage
-nosound = no sound
-nohltv = no half life tv

hi great info man!, i think where im bugging out is that once u load up all that crap into an account and you try to bypass the batch file and just play the game normal all my settings are out of wack. if there a way to reverse each one? i know i can resize thats simple but like -novid -nohltv -noshader those i wouldnt know how. would i just make it +novid?
to reverse it... just delete all that stuff from the startup

whats preloading?
Most likely the loading screens when joining a server, so it might not render anything in game.
