TF2 is getting really boring - Games

Do you have that feeling too? Its just get so boring without new things to do and stuff. I don't really care WHAT kind of update VALVe ads but each update makes me want to play again. Right now there is no update or reason i like to play.

Nope.avi I'm playing since 2007, at least 1 hour per day, I'm not bored at all. The community is just amazing, and the game too btw.

Play some nonsrs servers every once in a while, if you don't already.

Well i play allot on on the nomnomnom server but its in the USA and i live in EU so i get allot of ping and lag And i also play allot of Lobby's and sometimes DM/bbal

I really suggest playing in FPUK or unsrs servers. You'll have a laugh one in a while and just having fun.

I've played on 24/7 2Fort servers for the past few months and it's still fun for me.

You can try custom gamemodes.

Well yeah, it's gotten pretty boring for me lately. But the engie update and polycount contest should fix that.

Try playing with another class when on a srs server or just try some crazy/funny tactics. Other than that, no game is staying fun forever.

Don't overplay yourself. If you're thinking of firing up TF2 because you don't have anything better to do but you don't really "want" to play, don't.

Mostly what keeps me playing are the people I play with. Either friends who are likewise doing goofy shit like me or having random conversations, or the "pro" servers which are fun to make fun of because they get SO mad for some reason. :v:

Quite so. Everything needs to be taken in moderation. If TF2 isn't getting the stuff sparking, then play something different for a while, like Oblivion or StarCraft or some kinda flash tower defense., and when you're bored with what you're playing then, zip back to Carrison, Nevada (that's allegedly where some of the maps are set) and hop some rockets.

I cant play on regular servers, I only like arena and DM. I'm playing gmod until engie update.

Try randomizer servers. So much fun.

Play something else for a while then come back, it happens to me as well.

yea it gets boring after a while but when something peaks my intrest in it again i play it for a few days then get bored of it again

I get bored after 4 hours and then after one hour I'm hyped again. Actually the game has so many things. For example I take Direct Hit with me and gib an enemy and immediately press C on my keyboard and choose Jeers for my opponent to hear Soldier's jeers. :D

I will only ever get bored of this game if I play 1 class only, and get every single item with no future updates. The classes have such different play styles that I always have fun by simply changing class and playing the game differently. Items/updates just give me something to work for and show off.

CSS never have any weapon upgrades and people still enjoy it. I like TF2 because of the gameplay, not the weapons.

You guys bored have probably played it quite a lot. Just take a break from it until one day you decide to try it again and you may enjoy it.
