I tried a new form of video format, and it seems that the like/dislike ratio is about the same. I'd - Games

I want to start off by saying that I normally do commentary, I only started about a month ago and I am constantly trying to improve my craft and at the same time i'm trying out new ideas and seeing what sticks and doesn't. Recently I got the idea to make a Batman Spy video: [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDwHDRpvLhQ[/url] It seems that some people clearly don't like it but some people love it, as a YouTuber trying to gauge the interest levels and different things I could do to make it better the next time around i'd love some honest feedback from you guys on this topic! Also, i've never seen a forum setup quite like Facepunch so I have absolutely no idea if I am posting this in the right section!

You are supposed to post this kind of stuff in the "Media Megathread". You might get some advice there too. BTW, welcome to Facepunch, enjoy your stay.

The commentary is alright, but the machinima-esque talking over the characters muted doing voicelines is really outdated and just plain embarassing for 2014 standards (in my opinion). Also, you should've posted in [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1261728[/url]

I'm most likely not going to keep pursuing these if enough people don't enjoy them though, i'd have to go back to the drawing board and come up with some kind of new concept.
