What is your favorite / most cherished hat / item in your backpack? - Games

Whats your most favorite TF2 hat? Mine is the Merryweather. I know, opinions, etc. But I think it looks awesome in every single paint color, and with most unusual effects. As for my second most cherished hat, I'd have to say my Vintage Hound Dog. I remember like it was yesterday. Back when idlin' was all the rage, I got hats, but they were mainly shit for Spy and Medic, two classes I RARELY play. One day I got yet another Medic hat, and I crafted it (I think it was two Tyloreans), and I got the Hound dog, and I've been wearing that same hat ever since. Before trading came out, it was the ONLY good hat I had. Ever since the Merryweather came out I desperately wanted one but could never get one. I managed to get lucky and get an unusual Merryweather by harvesting shit tons of items on my alt account I had at the time because I knew trading was coming. I had planned to make metals to make hats, but I wanted to craft the Polycount weapons instantly. Everyone called me crazy for doing it. Soon, I had two full pages of vintages on day 1 of trading. Instead of wasting them, I bought the Polycount pack and I traded most of them for extra copies of promo items like Max head, etc (people were doing retarded trades during the first few days, in fact I got a hat for a Holy mackerel), and I soon traded all that shit for my Unusual Merryweather with Sunbeams later down the road. This is not a bragging thread or a thread to incite jealousy, just trying to start up a discussion. Hearing the history behind people's prized items has always...interested me.
