This is a thread for mentioning all of those happy events - friendly trades, gifts, or fights - that have made this Tf2 Christmas a great one.

For example, I decided to be SantaGoggles for a little bit. Someone asked for Crit-a-Cola, so I gave it to them. Someone else asked for a kritzkrieg and, considering that's all that ever dropped for me, I gave it to him. Five minutes earlier, he found the Larrkin Robin. but I didn't give him his gift because I knew I thought I'd get it, I did so to spread holiday cheer.
I had mentioned earlier about needing mad milk, so he opens a trade with me.
Puts a mad milk in, and asks me my favorite class.
I tell him scout.
He then puts a Vintage, GOLDEN Whoopee cap in the trade, then hits "accept".
He told me he likes to reward those who are friendly, and that he had enough hats.

A friend gift-wrapped, named, and painted his bombing run and gave it to me. I just traded my whiskered gentleman for a trilby which I'm gonna paint, name, and gift-wrap for him.
The funny thing is that the trilby is my favorite scout hat and the bombing run is his.
I was trying to negotiate a trade for the beak, which I really want. I didn't really have anything the guy wanted, and of course I was disappointed. So I said sorry for wasting your time, and he replied "wait a second." He then proceeded to put his Texas Ten-Gallon in the box, and he hit accept with a cry of Merry Christmas. One of my favourite hats, for my favourite class, for free. :iia:
EDIT: Aaaand now I've gotten a Hound Dog, as well as a Vintage Camera Beard and tons of random weapons. :smile:

I donated my Toque to the Gifting Group Event and gave some people items for free.
Some of them laughed at how stupid I am for giving out stuff for free tho. What has become of this world?
I have given out two Candy Canes, one pair of Fists of Steel, one Back Scratcher, some Festive Crates, a Jag and some other stuff.
I gave away my vintage Stockbroker's Scarf to someone who wanted it. He didn't have Killing Floor and wanted the tie much more than I did. I also gave my friend who asked for a festive crate the Fists of Steel I had unboxed a minute ago, from my festive crate.
I gave away my duplicate Vintage Towering Pillar of Hats to my Boyfriend since he wanted an All-Class hat

Gave a friend all of my backpack but three items.
Some guy from Facepunch really wanted my Blighted beak and all he could offer was the new pyro hat, I figured "Its christmas, why not" and gave it to him, He freaked out and couldn't stop thanking me
I gave away three crates and some metal last night.
And also last night, I had been hunting for a beak because it had become misc. and I wanted it to be part of my Tyrolean set.
I go on a random server and some guy shouts "Giving Beak to whoever trades me first!"
I did it, and got it for free. I was so damn happy I gave him a reclaimed afterwards, and inspired me to give my crates to random people last night.
The effect passes on.
I've given away three hats (Ze Goggles, The Noble Amassment, my first hat drop, and a Poker Visor), a ton of weapons, some crates, paints, and other tools like that, a key, and some games.
I've been sad all Christmas, everyone is always mad at each other even now, the nicest time of year. I'm not even good at the game, and care so much for it :smith:
Gave away a Boston Basher and Backscratcher to a guy named Wrex on the Facepunch server, though that kind of got cancelled out when I shot a rocket at a Pyro and he reflected it into Wrex. :saddowns:

I recieved a gift from Chilblain, and it was a Hatless Engi! So I got a description and a vintage hatless Engi, used the tag on the Engineer so it said "Happy Holidays Chilblain!"It felt good.
Gave one of my friends a Rather Festive Tree, and another a sydney sleeper because they didn't want hats.
I wrapped both and described them with "Merry Christmas".
