Found this when i was sorting my backpack out, don't know if it's late but whatever might be useful if you want more space, i don't know if you "find" the items that's "missing" when you die in game yet

Have you checked the other half of your pack? They might be in the 2nd half. And I haven't seen this before, so i'm not sure if it's late.

You're basically just putting the items in the same place as the other item. So it has 2 assigned to the one place, obviously it can only show one.

This. To get the other item back, just move the visible item out of the slot and the other one will show.
The reason why there's a small bit of lag when moving items around the backpack is because it's uploading your backpack's layout to your Steam profile live. Personally I think it's kind of dumb; why not just upload it with the Steam Cloud sync after I close my game? Whatever, though - just means you need to move items around your backpack a bit slowly and carefully.

The lag annoys the hell out of me.
Why not just upload it when you've closed the backpack? I'd likely be smoother.
I think he's trying to say that is may be a way of saving backpack space though.

I can't recall where I saw/heard but I believe they're doing an item stacking thing.
I guess where similar items, dupe razorbacks etc can stack.
