Easy ways to get weps? - Games

Well I do not get to play TF2 often as I havnt had a real pc to play besides my dads in months. I do happen to get to play more often lately. My question is how to unlock weapons a bit faster, because I never get anything. If I do get something they are either for a class I don't play as much or worse, a double.

I refuse to even risk a achievment manager lol. I just want the bat upgrade for my scout lol. How does idling get you weapons?

Sometimes it's better to keep the original weapon.(i personally think the normal bat is better than the sandman)
