• Rocket/Sticky Jump Boots?

If you notice, Valve added a boot print to one of the war pages. http://www.teamfortress.com/war/part4/index.htm I'm thinking they're hinting at a pair of rocket/sticky jump boots. Possibly the "weapon" the two classes are fighting over? There's an extras/misc slot where it could go, too.

I think we may be over analyzing this just a bit.
This totally deserved a new thread.

Reduce fall damage Reduce Damage from Explosive hopping. Maybe completely negate it.
Hey, a fairly reasonable speculation; what a rarity around here these days.

Someone mentioned this on the Steam forums but all the newspaper imperfections have been a bit Engineery. The ring from a can or bottle of beer, the boot print, then the whole Science ending the war thing. I really doubt we'd be lucky enough to get three fucking class updates at once, but a man can dream.
Not applicable, he can't sticky jump if he's using the targe.
You can 'nade jump if your a fucking badass.
At the top of the newspaper, there's two lions around the name. SOLDIER GET'S A PET LION!
Ha. Except my speculation is reasonable.
Moon Shoes.
Moments later, brain hemorrhage.
Well almost every class wears boots.
Yeah but the Engineer's the only one with tread on his boots. Of course the Engineer's treaded boots pale in comparison to the TREADED FACE CRUSHERS of SAXTON HALE. So it could just be a magazine Hale used as a practice dummy.
At the same time there wouldn't be much to update once these three classes are done, so it might be bittersweet.
Well there's still stuff like the trading upgrade and what not. Trust me in the mind of a game designer there is ALWAYS more to be done.
I reckon so, especially if you consider the Fred Astaire rocket launcher and the fact poopy joe died trying to go into space.
There would be no newspaper left.
You can 'nade jump if your a fucking badass.
True, I had enough dumb luck to do this a few times.
While we're on the topic of demo/rocket jumping, can anyone tell me why their feet catch on fire when they partake in said activity?
Boots would be horrible. But then again, so is a shield.
Boots could actually work, if they slowed you down enough. Plus, you couldn't sticky jump anyways if you had the melee set.
Moon Shoes.
gRooOvy!
My God, you are thinking WAAAAY to hard.
There's blood on another page as well, THIS MUST MEAN WE GET A JAR OF BLOOD TO THROW AT PEOPLE GUISE!!!!!!! Stop over analyzing, this is just a bootprint that likely means nothing.
Feet are the part of the class that no one pays attention too, because the skins and models are designed to draw your attention to where the models would be. Having a foot based unlock might mess up the fast recognition.
What if he could use rocket shoes to fly across the map like Astro Boy. If that actually happened, I would switch sides.
