I was kind of bored and curious about what parts of the world managed to get the golden wrenches, so I thought what better way to display this than a Pie Chart! This Pie Chart only shows 89 of the 100 wrenches given out, as any country that only got one wrench was not included in the chart. These countries are: Argentina Greece Netherlands Sweden Germany Portugal South Africa Czech Republic Romania Taiwan Japan Also, the largest section, 'Private', includes any profiles that were not setup, didn't show location or marked as private. I also like to call the 'Private' section, 'nub'. I was kind of dissapointed about all this because the place where I live (Australia) didn't even show up.
Thank you for informing me.
Link me to the Singaporean profile.
Hell yeah,at least one Brazilian got it!
Link me to the Singaporean profile.
There are actually two singaporean profiles, that's why it's on the Pie Chart. They are here and here
Tonix is Autralian, his profile used to be public.
There's one Aussie, but I think their profile is now private, but we make up a larger proportion of TF2 players than our representation in the Golden Wrenches. In the end, it wasn't fair, and Valve fucked it up.
You mean,in real life?
Klown here on FP is brazilian, I think :v:
I'm from Brazil, but not so as lucky as those who could get a gold wrench..
Valve fucked it up by making it a controlled pattern, not completely random
People were going to whine regardless of controlled or random drops.
Valve fucked it up by making it a controlled pattern, not completely random
They should've done this. Begin; Thuesday End; Friday (X time) I'm feeling lucky.
Need Czech Profile ... NOW !
Valve fucked it up by making it a controlled pattern, not completely random
You have any evidence that it was a "controlled pattern"?
I'm from Brazil, but not so as lucky as those who could get a gold wrench..
Oi, Portugal here :v:

One of them should have been me.
Make a chart of the time they played TF2. Cuz I'm wondering.
Hell yeah, two spaniards :spain:

Did he get a wrench? Because I saw a few people trying to predict exactly when to craft to get one. It was kind of funny because wrench #100 had already been given out and this one guy was like, ok, i'm going to get a golden wrench because I'm going to craft in 23 minutes and 5 seconds exactly. There defintatly was some control to it, it wasn't entirely random because it had to span around about the correct amount of time. One thing I was a little annoyed at was that the website said 'distribution has been designed to be fair to all timezones' Without reading this, as soon as the wrench log was avaliable people were getting them, like most people I was a sucker and crafted everything away in that one moment, at 6 in the morning. After reading it I thought I may have had more chance if I did it around 7 at night or something. Though my luck concerning TF2 is quite horrid. At the time, I had two hats, the Ye Olde Baker Boy and the Towering Pillar of Hats, (not including the Gibus and Paper Mask) In the process of crafting everything away, I got three refined metal. I crafted the three refined metal and got another 'Ye Olde Baker Boy'. So I thought, why not, and crafted the two together. I then got ANOTHER Towering Pillar of Hats, since another recipe emerged, I crafted those two together aswell. a FRICKING 'Ye Olde Baker Boy'. I mean, c'mon. Another thing is Pyro is my least played class, with around 2 hours. I have had the most hats obtained, for pyro. My most played class is Spy, at around 400 or so hours, and I have never had a Spy hat, ever. and before someone says 'Well at least you're getting hats', I'll add that I have over 1.5k hours of TF2 played, (my class played don't reflect this because I have reset them a few times). I got my first hat at around 1.1k hours, from crafting.
Didn't expect to see Romania in the list
Wait, is that Handsome Pete who got a Golden Wrench Facepunch's Handsome Pete?
Yes he is. Also.. Czech Republic has its own goldie <3
I was kind of dissapointed about all this because the place where I live (Australia) didn't even show up.
You Australians got a shitload of Australium wrenches, what's your problem man?
Damn Russians :saddowns:
A friend attempted to persuade me that it was actually free when you purchased a novint falcon with a special gift code :argh:. Evidently he was trolling after i checked google.
Most people who play Team Fortress 2 I would assume live in the United States.
Fucking Australians :(
