Here is some tips on using it.
1. Use it with the shield.
2. DONT FORGET ABOUT THE NADE LAUNCHER. Use it more than you do the eyelander.
3. When you see someone in around 5-10 meters distance charge them and attack.
4. Dont forget to retreat, get 1 kill, run back fill up on health then attack again.
5. Charging is very good way to run away in danger (I charge in usually hit some people, throw some nades and charge out of the battlefield)
6. Dont go rambo, as badass as the weapon looks it doesnt actually deal that much damage.
7. Keep moving, dont walk in same direction try to be unpredictable with it.

Although I do agree with the above, you have to be very careful if you want to keep the 4 head hp/speed bonus and pick your targets wisely. Don't forget you have a grenade launcher just because you're wielding a big ass sword.
