- Reverted the recent stickybomb damage ramp up change. We will continue to evaluate the use of stickybomb air detonations and potential changes to that mechanic.
- Fixed being able to taunt with enemies between spawn room doors
- Fixed a problem with The Senguko Scorcher's materials
- Updated the Towering Pillar of Summer Shades so they are marketable
- Updated the attribute description for the Back Scatter to better explain what it does
- Updated the localization files

Rumor has it:
- TF item schema update: https://github.com/SteamDatabase/SteamTracking/compare/e9075fdf67eb...d9862c0c0b5f
- The new taunts were given craft numbers, but they remain uncraftable
- Some of them can now be gift-wrapped
- Size is ~15 MB

that didn't last long did it
Guess enough people complained. I'm not really familiar enough with the sticky launcher to have an opinion on it one way or the other, I pretty much exclusively play demoknight (since I mostly just play VSH nowadays)

Taunts will be craftable.
Bah, they should've at least kept it until they figured out what else to do
How to fix stickybombs
Add a Blast Radius ramp up
Watch as the sticky-spammers return until stickies get nerfed again
YES
Blast size is the best measure: Stickies taking 2 seconds to be able to have the scary rape range is the way to go.
I bet to craft a random taunt you use 3 hats. Whenever they decide to add it.
And I was just starting to have fun without all the sticky spamming...
Well time to take a break from normal tf2 until they find something to fix it with, back to MvM for me!
Maybe instead of changing a weapon that has worked the same way for 5 years, they could make some less useful classes more useful

Literally everyone asked for a different nerf, not outright removal
It's fucking dumb

Almost every item we've gotten for the last six months has had craft numbers, it doesn't mean they'll be craftable.

only very bitchy reddit/fp/suf users
which is like what, 4% of TF2's clientele?

"We will continue to evaluate the use of stickybomb air detonations and potential changes to that mechanic"
On another note, I'm pretty happy they reversed their decision for now. They definitely went the wrong way with that nerf, hoping they can come up with a nerf that keeps stickies powerful but makes it so they require more skill to use well.
A nerf that FINALLY made sticky bombs the secondary weapons they were meant to be, and what do they do? Decide that Demo still having two primary weapons is okay for now. Ugh. I really wish they had come up with something else first. This nerf worked.

Half true - they have craft numbers, but they aren't craftable (yet).

Stickies were balanced before the nerf though. A majority of pub players are just bad and don't know how to fight stickies.

How is a mostly unreliable hard to get good with grenade launcher a primary compared to soldiers rocket launcher?

You have to be blind to not see the problem
the bigger issue is that they didn't bother fixing the Lochnload's reload again
it has TWO barrels, load one nade in each ffs

Superior damage output and can blanket an area with deterring and powerful splash projectiles that don't necessarily require spot-on hits or line of sight to be lethal.
You mistook 'as easy' for 'as useful'.

I have never had a problem with demoman because I know how to fight them. You just run towards them and kill them. Demo is a glass cannon class that needs protection from his teammates in order to be effective, I don't see what the problem is.
demo main detected

Demo has good health, good speed, two primary weapons with massive splash damage, and best potential mobility. Something in that equation isn't quite right. Calling him the glass cannon when there are lighter classes with less mobility is silly.

ahh yes, I always take on demoman by shooting and running towards them in a straight line
Saying "You just don't know how to fight them" is just not that good of an excuse.
