When ever I open up TF2,my screen goes black,shows the Valve logo for a split-second,then I go to my desktop.Preventing me from playing at all.Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm re-installing right now.But I had a femscout reskin and E.V.E Hud.Thats all

Alright,I tried reinstall and it still does this.Any thing else?
Do you have any launch options at all? Also, have you tried verifying your cache?

Shot in the dark, but maybe he put a resolution via the command line options either his GFX card didn't support or the game didn't support.
Source is pretty lenient with resolutions as far as I know. I'm going to try it.
