I also have a question, if i replace one hat with a skin one, can i get the old original hat back?

I use skins.

And yes, you can get it back. Just delete the material/model the skin is, then verify the integrity of the game cache.

This, except you don't need to verify the cache. Those files are in the GCFs aren't touched by custom skins.

But anyway, I only use stuff that directly improves visuals (things that Valve was lazy about), low violence mode (which I had them switch my account over to, so it's no longer a skin :buddy:), and occasionally I feel like beta-style skins.

I only use the fix skins like the 4 shot grenade launcher, the REAL Killing Gloves of Boxing, and the improved class icons.

I use the REAL kgb, 4-slot nade launcher, jack daniels bottle, arabasadour, and dinosaurpirate's class and hat pack. I feel it lends a bit more realism to the tf2 aesthetic, while retaining the 60's vibe.

Also an ambassador fix.

A couple custom sounds on the eyelander.

I use beta skins and some other skins that fit TF2, excluding my HUD and Spy Masks.

Ya I use the beta skin for the spy (so much better imo) I might get more beta skins for other classes, but that's relatively it, oh and an ambassador skin. Still looking for a good one, also I still need to find a beta hud

I use only one, the replacement for the spy's masks with actual character outfits. Too many servers have sv_pure 1 so there's really no point.
