Hoarding Degreasers! Hoping for a community variant! (lol) - Games

How does one qualify for a community weapon? I really like the Degreaser...it and the axetinguisher are my favorite Pyro weapons. So I was just wondering....didn't someone here get a community FAN or Scattergun for hoarding them? So if thats true, I'd kinda like to shoot for a community Degreaser! I think I'm going to fill my backpack to the max with backpack expanders, and then hoard 200+ or more of them. But I'm not sure if thats a "Guaranteed" way to get a community version of a weapon, or if Valve only did it one time for one person.

So, you want to collect weapons to get a free one with a useless effect.

I like shiny things.

I thought you got the community ver. of the weapon only if you made it.

Maybe I can do something like expand my backpack to the max and then spell out "I want a community degreaser" out of nothing but Degreasers.

You don't even want to hoard them. All you want is the effect atleast nerfed did it because he loved scatterguns and scouts, not wanting a shiny effect.

Get 1000 degreasers Valve says " Sure here you g-...Oh wait, sorry sir, you don't have enough room!"

I find it kinda dumb how many people started "collecting" after they saw Nerfed do it and get noticed No one realizes, it's not as impressive after it's already been done. You just look like a Nerfed copy cat.

I don't think nerfed ever got his scattergun reskin. Everyones just copying him cause he got a response from Robin, thinking theyre gonna get community weapons. Christ.

I only want community weapons because of that sexy, sexy phong. That's what unusuals should be, awesome shiny polished versions of normal hats.

I was already collecting degreasers. I'm at 24 now, I haven't really asked for any in a long while.

Wait I don't understand.... you can GET community weapons for collecting +199 of the same weapon? That's kinda wierd... well If this can work out I'll try get +299 Your Eternal Rewards :3

If you actually get a Community weapon for doing this I'll quit TF2 forever. I want my Scattergun to be SOMEWHAT exclusive, god damnit.

You'll only get a boxed degreaser if you collect 200 of it.

If you outright say that you're only doing it because you want a community weapon no one is going to help you. If you collect pointless things it should be out of hobby, not for personal gain.
