hi. so i had a series going from 1scrap to 10 buds and not really showing how i sold the items or talked to people (mybad). alot of people asked how i sell my items for more than its worth or sell it for full price as they find it so hard. often get me to broker for them. here's a short video on some good tips n tricks to help you in unusual trading. If you enjoyed the video it would be great if you can like it or share it with other people who enjoy trading or struggling with trading. Server im on is called UT universal Traders. Also the other person is a girl if wondering as alot. If you didn't like the video tell me why any feedback is helpful. thanks some steps you can take to sell for more. 1. list your unusual on advertising sites for more than its worth. - people always try to get things for less so if you have a higher price they offer less than that. 2. try not to price your hat when buying it with b/o's as they are very misleading and often wrong due to this reason. 3. If selling for unusual always get overpay as you have to take more time to sell those unusual. more tips in the video and on my channel thanks.
why does a video about trading has gameplay. why not make, instead, a proper presentation with cards that both state the points you're making during your lecture so people would focus on what you're saying instead of the awfully distracting gameplay. also, when you're making a guide/tutorial to anything, you usually make an introduction to the points that you'll review on your guide so people can check back whenever they need to revisit any of the tips you give them. otherwise, they get lost in that 9min long video. you know, like a proper speech on a subject.

You're advice is very helpful and I'll use this next time to ensure I make the video as clear as possible as I want people to understand my videos more. Originally I was going to do it like that but decided not to next time ill do it like that making it more clear for people and script it out instead of just saying it as I go without it written down in some kind of form. Thanks for you information & opinion on the topic.

(I know you don't! ;3 ) Don't bother with trading at all. If you're (you are) insistent upon trading for that one item... I honestly don't recommend it as there are easier ways to get items for this game. I understand that only through trading can you get some of the rarer items, or cheaper prices, but in my experience it's just not worth the time and effort. Besides, the steam marketplace has people listing unusual items anyway. Save up money instead, or sell your own unusual there and buy a game, much more fun.
One of the most important things to keep in mind is grammar, other than that I know jack shit about trading. If you don't keep proper grammar the pretentiously intellectually judgemental users of this forum and other places will bash you for it, simply because they get off on it. Keep this in mind. Also, nobody cares about one's gender on the internet. It is considered an outcry for attention, and is usually frowned upon. Generally, I'd take Metaru's advice and use infographic-style visuals in your video to make your viewer pay attention to different things, just like you would do in a professional presentation. If you're going to talk about trading for 9 minutes you need to keep the viewer interested in your video, otherwise the person would get easily bored of watching you play at pubs, and close the video. If you're not going to take your topic seriously enough and with more depth, it becomes half-assed. And that's not going to help you get your video to the spotlight and you end up just as an amateur as the next guy. If you aren't ready to take this that seriously and you think this is a waste of your time, then focus on something you'd actually love to do. That's real life advice here.
